LIONS WIN A THRILLER OVER DEPAUL CATHOLIC, 21–18

Monsignor Farrell remained unbeaten with a hard-fought 21–18 victory over DePaul Catholic, earning a statement win over one of New Jersey’s established programs at Coach Dennis Barrett Stadium.

In a matchup that came down to the final margin, the Lions delivered on both sides of the football to hold off the Spartans and improve to a perfect 3–0 on the season.

Farrell was led offensively by Jayden Burch, who turned in a big performance on the ground. Burch rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries, averaging more than eight yards per attempt.

Quarterback Bryce Moye kept the offense moving through the air, completing 16 of 26 passes for 190 yards and a touchdown.

Against a talented DePaul team, however, this one required a complete team effort. Farrell’s defense came up with critical stops throughout the game, limiting the Spartans to 18 points and protecting a three-point advantage when it mattered most.
